Super close to the hospital
This place is literally a 2-min walk to Duke Hospital! The shuttle was super convenient too. The room was clean and quiet, but I had no hot water in the shower. Kind of a bummer for wanting that hot soak. Overall, it did its job since I just needed a place to crash after a long day.

During my stay, I really appreciated the clean and spacious room, which made it easy to unwind after a long day. The nearby grocery store was super convenient for grabbing snacks, and the shuttle service was a lifesaver for hospital visits. A slight downside was the bathroom layout, which could be a bit tricky to maneuver, but overall, it was a comfortable experience.

The stay at University Inn Duke was quite pleasant. The room impressed me with its size and cleanliness. I loved having a fridge and microwave handy, which made it easy to store snacks and reheat leftovers. The bed felt super comfortable after a long day. I appreciated the complimentary shuttle service to Duke Hospital. it made transportation stress-free, especially during our appointments. The staff remained friendly and responsive to our needs. However, parking posed quite a challenge. The lot was cramped, making it difficult for larger vehicles to maneuver. Also, the breakfast selection felt a bit basic with just yogurt, cereal, and pastries. a bit more variety would’ve been nice. The hallways had a noticeable echo due to the lack of carpeting, which sometimes made it a bit noisy. Overall, a solid choice for hospital visits, but it could smooth out a few rough edges.

Had a great time with friends! The shuttle took us to cool spots, like the art gallery and a local coffee shop. The staff was friendly, and the place was clean, which made our stay enjoyable. Breakfast had solid muffins and healthy options, just what we needed.
I could hear people in other rooms, which was a bit distracting at times.

great location but some room details need improvement
The location to Duke University Hospital is fantastic. The staff, especially Carlos and the shuttle drivers, were very friendly and accommodating.
While the room was clean, I could smell bleach upon entering, which might be off-putting for some.

I scored some bomb local bites at nearby spots like Hungry Leaf and Wimpy's Grill—those scrambled eggs at breakfast were a game changer! Plus, the place was super clean and the free shuttle made my life so much easier, especially for hospital visits.
The front desk was a bit of a flop with service. they didn't have change for laundry and I had a vending machine steal. Minor hiccups though, because everything else shined bright like a freshly polished penny.

Conveniently located near Duke University, the spacious and clean room came equipped with a fridge and microwave, enhancing the comfort of our stay. The staff's friendliness and assistance with directions were a significant plus. However, parking was a bit tight, and the entrance was initially hard to find. The limited options for breakfast and a lack of a hot tub were minor downsides, but overall, the free shuttle service made getting around hassle-free.
